When Amazon Fire TV Stick is connected to a PC monitor, the volume cannot be adjusted and the monitor cannot be turned off.
This is because the Fire TV Stick sends out a TV remote control signal to adjust the TV volume and turn the TV on and off.
Each video had a different volume, so it was cumbersome to have to adjust each time, and it was very inconvenient to have to get out of bed and turn off the monitor before going to bed.
Volume adjustment
There was an application to adjust the output volume of Fire TV Stick. The price was 159 yen as of 4/9.

To use this application, you must enable debug mode from My Fire TV Stick.
Since you asked in the comments section, I looked into it and found that an additional operation was required to enable debug mode.
TFB / Amazon Fire TV hides developer options, but there is a solution
Go to Settings, then About, and click on the name of the device several times until you get a popup saying that you are now a developer.
After that, the menu to enable debug mode - seems to appear.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'll make a note of it.

We received information in the comments section that it only works with Fire OS 7 (not 5 or 6).
The OS versions are listed here.

In our case, it worked on Fire TV Stick 3rd generation, but not on Fire TV Stick 4K 1st generation.
According to the listing, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max 1st generation is likely to be available in 4K.

Once installed, it is resident, and the volume can be adjusted with the volume increase/decrease buttons on the remote control.
Long presses do not work, so the buttons need to be clicked repeatedly, but this is probably a specification of the remote control.
It is definitely better to be able to adjust the volume without getting up.
Perhaps volume control could be assigned to the left and right buttons. At least, because in the author's introductory video, he used that button to operate the controls. If assigned to this, a long press might work.
Power on/off
I thought I could just put the Fire TV Stick to sleep… but it seems that the signal is still flowing to the HDMI during sleep, so I get a black screen and the monitor never cuts out (the backlight stays on).
This has been discussed here, but it does not seem to be possible to address this in software.

Therefore, we decided to purchase a power strip that can turn the outlet on and off by infrared light.
This is wishful thinking because it will allow the external speakers to be turned on and off together as well as the monitor.
We don't have a Google Home or Amazon Echo and don't want one at this point, so we chose the infrared type.
It may be a matter of talking or pushing a button. You can choose what you like.
Monologue
There are no problems at all when using Fire TV Stick connected to a TV, but two problems that occur when connecting it to a monitor are solved.
For the size of 32 inches, 4K seems too detailed, 1K is a bit coarse, and 2K is just right, right? So I tried to find a 2K TV, but there are no such TVs in Japan, so I chose a PC monitor. To begin with, Japanese TV broadcasting (especially news) is quite biased in its ideology, which makes me hesitate to purchase a TV set.
Compared to buying a TV, it costs about 2,000 yen more and the operation is somewhat less smart.
However, when connected to a PC monitor, this is just right.
For me, it was a good choice.
